The Indoor Lead Climbing class is designed to teach you the skills of the sharp end.
The class will focus on:
- Belaying: how to spot, belay, and catch a lead climber
- Leading: how to climb the sharp end of the rope with maximal safety
- Clipping: how to avoid back clipping and Z-clipping
- Positioning: how to clip efficiently in a variety of positions
- Falling: how to position yourself to fall in the safest manner
Prerequisites: Demonstrate that you can climb 5.9 or higher efficiently
Next Class: Call for the class schedule or schedule as a group and set your own date.
